Qua-Ke-Zik Sportsman's Club

A Proud Tradition

Qua-Ke-Zik Sportsman's Club takes their name from the Ottawa Chief, known as Nowaaquakezick (also known as Chief Noonsday), the leader of the upper village on the Grand River in the early 1800's.

Founded in 1938, Qua-Ke-Zik Sportsman's Club was originally located on the shores of Dean Lake in northeast Grand Rapids. Moving to Lowell Township in 1965, residing here for the next 41 years. In 2006 Qua-Ke-Zik moved to the new and current location on 250 acres minutes west of Saranac, Michigan.

Here at Qua-Ke-Zik, individuals and families can enjoy a traditional American pastime. Our facilities provide beginners, novice, and experienced sportsmen alike, the opportunity to participate in shooting sports in a safe, friendly, and inviting environment. Our outdoor ranges feature spacious, covered shooting benches for any weather shooting, and bermed backstops for down range safety. The Club's Skeet and Trap fields offer shot-gunners of every skill level a variety of single and multiple target challenges.

In addition to our well maintained shooting facilities, the club's 250 acre property also features an extensive woodland habitat, which is home to a variety of native wildlife species. Including a stretch of land on the Grand River.
